Effective 2 October 2026
Who Is Responsible For Your Information
The data controller is Rayofla Kft., an independent advisory and media company based in Budapest, Hungary.
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@rayofla.com.
What I Collect
When you use the private conversation form, contact me by email, or message me through WhatsApp, I may receive:
- your name and contact details;
- your company name, website, and professional role when you choose to provide them;
- the content of your message and any follow-up correspondence;
- basic technical information created when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser information, security logs, and the page requested.
Please do not send sensitive personal information, passwords, financial account details, or confidential deal material in an initial inquiry.
Why I Use It
I use this information to review and respond to inquiries, decide whether a conversation or engagement makes sense, arrange requested calls, maintain business correspondence, protect the site from abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations when they apply.
Legal Bases
Depending on the context, the legal basis is:
- steps requested before a contract, when you ask about working together;
- legitimate interests, including responding to business correspondence, maintaining relationships, protecting the website, and preventing spam or misuse;
- legal obligations, when records must be kept under applicable law;
- consent, only when consent is specifically requested for an optional use such as future marketing.
Who May Process It
I do not sell your personal information. Limited information may be processed by service providers that help operate the website and communications, such as website hosting, security, email, font delivery, and messaging providers. If you choose WhatsApp or Instagram, Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy notices.
Professional advisers or public authorities may receive information when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or comply with law. A specialist will not receive your inquiry merely because one might eventually be useful.
International Transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside Hungary or the European Economic Area. Where required, the relevant provider or Rayofla Kft. relies on an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How Long I Keep It
General inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless there is a legitimate reason to keep them longer or you ask for earlier deletion. Records connected with an engagement, payment, dispute, or legal obligation may be retained for the period required by contract, tax, accounting, or other applicable law. Technical security records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
Your Rights
Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to contact@rayofla.com. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, known as NAIH, or with the supervisory authority where you live or work. Visit naih.hu.
Security And Automated Decisions
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Rayofla Kft. does not use information submitted through this site for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
